This timeline provides an overview of my work experience

2005 - Astronomy

After studying Applied Physics, I started working for TNO as a control engineer. In this role I've designed and realized mecha-tronic instruments and systems for the astronomy market (photo credit: ESO/H.Heyer)
2010 - Lithography

As a mechatronics engineer at TNO I worked for a couple of years on lithography projects for the semiconductor market (photo credit: ASML)
2015 - Optical Communication

As of 2015 I worked as a lead systems engineer at TNO in various optical communication projects. Within these projects I developed adaptive optics ground station demonstrators and an airborne terminal demonstrator (photo credit: TNO)
2020 - Freelancing

After working for almost 15 years for TNO, I decided to start working for multiple customers as a freelance systems engineer to build and strengthen the Optical Communications industry
